Slayer Help/Advice Needed...

Okay..

 

 

 

I decided to train up slayer from 65 since Dustdevils aren't dropping anything, so I am 71 right now but quickly lagging around at that level because the Lost City slayer master keeps giving me Kurask, Turoth, and Iron Dragons to kill...

 

 

 

I burthorpe these because they are boring/slow/waste of money task, yet I keep getting them and nothing different.

 

 

 

I've been going back and forth now with her for at the least 15 task and she keeps giving me one of those 3.

 

 

 

I heard that she gives you the highest level monster you can kill alot in task once you are one level above the level needed (in this case Kurask) which is true I get that task the most out of the 3.

 

 

 

My question is, is this why I keep getting them? So should I get 72 on another slayer master and then go back to Lost City, or is this just a string of bad luck on my part?

 

 

 

I wouldn't be posting if I didn't get the task over and over enough times to merit it.

You could try switching between Lost city and edge if your combat is under 100. But the best way to kill Turoth and Kurask is range and it's not such a waste of money as you would think. First off it's decent range xp, secondly Turoth drop a lot of seeds, herbs and sometimes clues and mystic bottoms. Kurask drop rune longs addy plates and clues. Don't buy your broad arrows all at once, just take 6k gp with you everytime you go for an assignment and buy as much as you can (~90). This will stack up untill you get an assignment in which you use them.

 

 

 

About getting assignments you don't like: you're just going to have to live with it, everyone gets Iron Dragons assigned, hardly anyone does them. Just Burthorpe it quickly and hope for a good one.
