Creaphis
As an experienced farmer of level 85, it may be surprising that there's something I have to ask. Or maybe I'm just conceited and tooting my own horn. Anyways, this is what I don't know and haven't gotten around to testing: How long can a herb be diseased before it dies? 1 growth cycle (20 minutes)? 2 growth cycles? Or is there a random chance of death every time?
Taito2004
As far as I know, it's one cycle, however, it might be 2 if you use super compost, as it protects from disease? and I would guess if your plant was desiesed, it would protect from death too? 92/99 Fishing | 119/120 Combat | 92/99 Firemaking | 94/99 Fletching | 1878/1900 Total | 85/85 Slayer | 80/80 Prayer
Junkieman
I think for anything diseased, it's just 1 growth cycle away from death.
Creaphis
Thanks for the input. Essentially, I'm lazy, so I'm trying to do as few herb checks as possible. Usually I supercompost my herbs and come back in 80 minutes, and what dies dies. But, I don't want to lose any torstol, so I'm figuring out if I have to come around every 20 minutes or if 40 is plenty. I know herbs can't get disease on the first round, so that saves me from one check.
Taito2004
I take the same attitude.. do you not have an ammy of nature, so you can at least check 1 patch every once in a while? 92/99 Fishing | 119/120 Combat | 92/99 Firemaking | 94/99 Fletching | 1878/1900 Total | 85/85 Slayer | 80/80 Prayer
Creaphis
Yup, I have an ammy on the last patch in my round so that I know when they're all done.
