June 28, 200620 yr My friend recently lent me a few graphic novels to read during my vacation in california. I had never read a graphic novel before and i'm really loving these. I'm suprised how much it can feel like watching a movie at times. V for Vendetta Watchmen Batman-Year One Batman- The Dark Knight Returns The only ones I've finished so far are V for Vendetta and I'm about a third of the the way through Watchmen. V was pretty good although I think it would have been better If I hadent seen the movie first. Watchmen so far is awsome. Every character has amazing depth. Anybody have any other recomendations for me?
June 28, 200620 yr Recomendations huh? How about: Hellboy Starwars The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Scott Pilgrim Bone You should also try Japanese Manga. Theres ALOT of good manga series around, trust me. The Enrichment Center reminds you that the weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak. Theres ALOT of good manga series around, trust me. The League of Extrordinary Gentlemen and Hellboy sound pretty good. I don't really want to start with Japanese Manga since I'll probably go crazy with it if I do. To Knives, Is it worth it while I'm reading Watchmen to read the little stories in between the chapters? I know it sounds lazy but I'm thinking maybe I'll just read them at the end.
June 28, 200620 yr It doesn't matter. I did the same thing you did. ^_^ But, sometimes they do help to tie up a few loose ends.
June 28, 200620 yr . I don't really want to start with Japanese Manga since I'll probably go crazy with it if I do. Yes you will. (In a good way... well for me anyway... helps me kill boredom...) You should try asking around your library or something too. The Enrichment Center reminds you that the weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak.
