Merchanting vs Green Dragon Hunting

Well recently, i've worked out that every trip to the green dragons collecting both hides and bones and teleing bak to edgy is about 50k. This also gives pretty good combat xp but there is a risk about pkers (dam them lol). Anyway so i've always been a merchant, well most of my rs life and it has worked well. So can anyone tell me which one to do?

i personaly would stick with green drags as i cant merchant :?

 

 

 

but if you can merchant confidently and efficiantly then go for that.

 

 

 

but as long as you dont get pked green drags are a steady flow of income, perhaps even go with a m8 to decrease chance's of getting pk'ed :?:

Merchant for a few hours, work out how much you make on average. Then work out how many trips on average you can do at green drags, then add in what you value the combat exp at. Then pick the higher of the two =)

If you've done both, why are you asking others which one to do?

Anyway, I've been hunting blue drags a lot lately in effort to get 70 range, and I think it's pretty good cash. I've also done a little bit of merchanting. I kinda enjoy both, but only merchanting when the item is in demand, and I am able to sell for a reasonable price. I don't like spending too much time merchanting, cos you don't get any xp. So all in all I prefer drags cos of the xp.
