Ard_Choille
To start, go to your Control Panel and double check the Advanced tab of your Internet Settings. Make sure that "Play sounds in web pages" is checked. See if that does the trick. - - My deviantART Page - -

Ard_Choille
Two things:Make sure you have the most recent version of Firefox. Also, be sure you have all the necessary Plugins. - - My deviantART Page - -
Vape
Sounds like a problem with your MIDI player. I'm unsure about why ti would work in IE and not in Firefox though. The only thing I can think of is to make sure you have the latest version of Sun Java. Also making sure you have the latest windows updates and the latest version of Firefox is always a good idea. Where the bloody hell are you?
