Protection Prayers

Do the protection prayers keep you from getting hit, so u take 0 damage? What things should I bring to make my prayer long lasting when fighting the demon in monkey madness?

the three protection prayers stop any npc from doing damage of that type to you, but othewr players are simply hindred by it, not stopped. the best prayer outfit is full initiate, white boots, god book, dragon mace, fire cape and holy/unholy symbol

u can take damage with prayer...but the change is smaller and hits lesser...

For the Jungle demon, run across a bridge to the surrounding gantry switch on mage protect and range away. I believe I only used a glory ammy, but if you want to be sure wear monks robes and a zammy symbol and do the same. However you will take longer to kill the demon this way, so it might be best just to do it with minimal prayer protect.

protection prayers will stop npc's from harming you if they are attacking in the form of atk that you have prayer on. It will obviously not stop them if u have protect from range on and they are hitting you with melee.

 

When u are in the wild, being hit by other players, the protection prayers stop the players hit by 40%. so if he/she would have hit a 10 on u, instead, they would only hit a 6.
