I want to get members again for my account, but this time - instead of using my home phone, I would like to use a cellular phone. I have a pay as you go plan on the phone, so as directed by the main site, I put $20 on the phone (so I can pay the $10.99) and went through the process of calling.

 

But I everytime I call, I cant get connected to the other line. Im not sure if it is blocked (going to call someone with my phone company tomorrow) or if it's cause of the Southern Ontario 519 thing - everyone in Southern Ontario needs to dial 519 first because all the possible numbers in the region ran out.

 

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone else pay using their cellular phones? If so, can you tell me what you did, and if you went through the same experiences...?

well, click on pay by sms (on runescape ofcourse) and it should guide u thru the rest of the process.

You could do Bank transfer if you have a bank account(Or use your parents, and give them the money..Bank transfer is like Paypal, just takes the money from your bank account and puts it in theres. I don't know if Canada has that stuff, i don't live there :P)

i remeber when i was gonna go member by phone, we were moving so our phone had been disconnected =\, so with the 20 dollars that i had for pocket money.....i decided to go member.....so, i rush to the dairy and buy 20 dollars credit for my phone =) thoughts racing through my head [ what am i gonna do first? etc ]

 

 

 

I get home and rush onto my computer.....type in my username and pass, then type in my phone number, and go to call.......alas!, nothing comes......i try calling again, but nothing, this is when i find out that you cannot make toll calls from a prepay cellphone =\

But then next month when we had moved, we got our phone connected and i managed to go member, personally its some of the best money I have spent in terms of entertainment lol......

 

 

 

Yes, i learned that the hard way, i went and spent 100 dollars on guild wars only to find NOTHING BEATS RUNESCAPE, theres no other game like it, well, as far as my knowledge goes anyways.....

Yea, its a premium number - I think thats the problem, I just wanted to see if anything else went through the same problem as me..
