Most of my digi-paintings are colour faded so I have to adjust the contrast before completion, just to help bring out those colours. XD Grr... Anyways. You should try brushing the entire face first instead of concentrating on one area at a time. I did that once and it took forever...I actually went berserk one night and started brushing really quickly (madness I tell yah, madness!)...and then the next morning, I went back and calmly brushed in the details overtop the messiness from the night before. Check out the "varrock night thingy thread" - I included a frame by frame process. This took forever! How am I ever going to finish this guy? 'Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming' \ P.S. I dont know what paint shop pro is like but for photoshop, I brush with an opaque brush.
