Why are posts missing and/or not counting???

Recommended Posts

Simply put, I went searching today for a post by someone I know, and I couldn't find it. Also, posts I put up are not counting toward my total.

WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?

Some explanation, PLEASE?!?!?

In some boards like the market boards and forum games boards your posts don't add to your post count since you're not really making a real post in them. As to not being able to find a post by your friend, how are you searching, and are you sure you're doing it right?

I'm sure I am doing it right, especially since I am going to their profile and asking the server to show me what all they have posted. And I know they posted in the last month also, as well as that they posted their thread in the "Chef's Cauldron" area... so I can see their post not counting to their total, but I can't see why I can't find it at all. :( Is there some kind of pruning going on with the forums?

and yes, posts in market board get deleted after a while.

I see I missed something on the way into the forums. I'll have to remember to use the search a bit. THANK YOU!
