Herblore Galore!

I'm calling out to all the high-level herblores browsing this forum. I also want to bother some of the greatest merchants that handle lots of herbs everyday.

 

 

 

I have a conundrum. I'm a relatively low level player (72 combat with 80 range) and I decided that my pure needed 70 attack for a whip. Now, I already know whips don't come cheap, so I decided to train on Chaos Druids and collect their unidentified herbs.

 

 

 

So far, I have collected a total of 1,000 unids. I already know I am able to sell unids for 1,000 gp each, giving me a grand total of 1 million gp if I sell them all.

 

 

 

But I heard my friend saying: "Yeah, sell it for 1 mill and they'll sell back the identified herbs for 3 mill".

 

 

 

That made me think - is it worth risking identifying my unids to possibly sell them for more? Now, this is where you come into play. Since I have no idea what any herbs are worth, and I know tip.it forums house great herblorists that know a lot about the herblore economy, i'm falling back on you guys with all my trust.

 

 

 

So, is it worth identifying...:

Naturally, I looked up to see what herbs were each pile. So I looked up the herblore guide in the game, and I noticed there were 15 types of herbs. So, now i'm dumbfounded, and i'm relying on you guys to see if I should identify these unids or just sell them as they are.

Hm, well your best bet is to get someone to id 1 of ea pile, get a note of where it is an order them dwarf dwarf to guam, then look up the prices and calculate how much you could get selling separetly. to be fair, looking at those stacks they arnt worth mroe than 1k ea, and even if you id maybe you would get 1.2mil but you would have a hard time selling the low level herbs i think. And high level ones dont sell well in that quantity.

 

 

 

To answer your other question there are 11 herbs that can be gotten from drops, the others are toadflax, snapdragon, torstol, and rogues purse. Toadflax and snapdragon can be obtained from the agility arena in brimhaven with tickets or from farming. Torstol is in a chest in the agility dungeon, or can be farmed. Rogues purse is from a quest.

 

 

 

If i were you i would try selling them for 1.1k ea, if no one buys then lower to 1k ea.

Actually I would be willing to bye the lot now at 1 million for all which is 1k a piece. I am in the process now of raising my herblore so i can do legends and it isnt going to be easy. So if you add me i will be on tonight briefly.
