HOW???!. How I knew this was because I always check a friend of mine's smithing because he is going for top 5 in smithing, so I always see his Overall Total XP.

Cooking sharks in the Rogue's Den is insanely fast xp. 6mil would probably take upwards of 15 hours easily, though.

Don't forget the higher level stuff gives more xp, and so at higher levels you can gain more quickly. Play long enough and you can gain quite alot.
