i am going for 85 minig and banking all the iron i mine were is the closest bank to an iron mine?

well, as Billion stated, Varrock East Mines are a good source of iron ( four rocks i think) and it's close to a bank. now what i do if i want quick mining, but i want to keep it as well, i bring a ring of dueling with me and do the following: teleport to duel arena, walk north to al karid mines, mine until full, teleport to castle wars and bank, teleport to duel arena, and repeat till you have no more rings. either way is pretty quick, but if you aren't a Member or you don't have any dueling rungs or don't have the money, stick to the Varrock Mines.

 

 

 

good luck on getting to 85. and heres a little piece of advice: after every 2 or 3 mining levels, go have some fun doing slayer or do soem fight pits. or if you are a free-to-player, runcraft or train a bit, just don't try to get to 85 nonstop because you probably will be worn out by level 75. so good luck but most of all...HAVE FUN! \ :wink: 8-)

I think Varrock East is way to crowded. My personal favorite spot is just north of Edgeville, in lvl 4-6 Wilderness. There are 2 or 3 iron rocks there, and plenty of coal rocks. Just bring your pick though; pkers are very common there.

i prefe the mine just north of yanille for my iron, there's a nice group of three rocks u can do in succession and just run south to the bank, and repeat

I use the three iron rocks west of falador. Only a short run and a wall hop away from the smaller western bank.

For iron I sometimes go to Port Khazard mine then bank in Yanille.

 

Seems a quick trip to the bank and it's almost always empty, just find a good world for it or one where everyone is elsewhere.

im with Sman25000 here - Yanille is closest to bank and on a busy world its just 1 click mining

I like the Khazard mine as well. Its about a click and a half (if I remember right) from the bank, risk-free, and almost always empty. No need to slow down with a wall hop, though the Taverly mine is pretty good even with that.
