My first barrow trips.

I woke up at 9 am. All i could think about is: Barrows

 

so i turned on the computer and loggen on to tip.it to look for a guide

 

i looked on the first general p2p page. No guides, so i click on the search button and i put

 

Search: Barrows

 

Approximately 37 pages and almost none were guides... so i clicked on the search button again

the absolutely same results. So i decided to be a little more specific.

OK, so according to him i needed

 

Monk robes - to lazy to go to the monastery, zamorak robes will do it

 

holy or unholy symbol - ok, i have one in bank

 

mystic boots - have one pair in bank

 

mystic gloves - steel gloves will do it

 

prayer book - i havent done that quest

 

god cape and mystic hat - ghostly hood and cloak are ok, i guess....

 

 

 

So i grab an air staff, 120 chaos, 480 fires, black dhide top and bottom, crystal bow, dragon hally, druid pouches, 6 pray pots, 2 super restores, and 11 monkfish.

 

 

 

Then i took out my ecthophial... wait, I dont have one, so i teled to varrock and went all the way to the nature altar, then boosted my prayer and walked through all the snails to barrows. On the way, a green thing appear in front of me and attacked me, " loar shade? wtf is this?"

 

 

 

Anyway, i arrived to the barrows. "Ok, dharok goes first"

 

He was easy. Then ahrim. Karil was the tunnel mound or however it's called. Then guthan, he took a while. Then torag. Then verac.

 

 

 

After that, i went into the tunnel, I took a while to kill Karil and Solve the puzzle, 'cuz those skeletons and worms were attacking me, and i couln't click on the answer fast.

 

 

 

I saw the chest, clicked twice and teled to varrock.

 

Blood runes, death runes, mind runes, and coins.

 

 

 

"Hmm... I'll go again"

 

 

 

So i went again, boosted my prayer, took out dharok, equipped crystal bow, killed ahrim, then i was going to enter karil's mound, when i noticed

 

40 fires in my inv. "hmm guess i forgot to get out more runes.....Meh, i'll use crystal bow...."

 

 

 

I killed karil and waited 5 mins at guthan's "this is not going to work"

 

so i teled to varrock...again....

 

 

 

After some more tries, i finally managed to get to barrows with pots, runes, and food, so i killed guthan, verac (that hits through prayer) and torag was tunnel. I managed to find the chest and got:

 

Blood runes, Death runes, Mind runes, Coins.

 

"Hmm... a d̮̩̉̉ja vu(sp?)?"

 

 

 

I decided to make another run.

 

Got some leftover super restores from dt (which i did one month ago)

 

and the last monkfish that i had in bank.

 

 

 

I went to barrows.... killed them all... karil in tunnel again.... i opened chest and....

 

 

 

"OMG!! GUTHAN'S SPEAR!!!

 

waaaaait.... they're just runes -.-"

 

 

 

I did another run without getting something good, well, they're rare items after all.

 

Probably someday i will get something better....

How tough was the barrows for you. Your combats stats are not that high.

My bad i didnt see your Range and Magic...so im assuming you ranged and maged them right?

i did my 1st run when i was lvl 72

 

used up soo many ppots

 

i found it fun tho

Good luck on more barrows runs! It sounds like good fun, buuuut I think I am going to wait until I am higher level.

 

 

 

(I am a wuss and I am very conscious of how I spend my money...)

How tough was the barrows for you. Your combats stats are not that high.

yea but i used fire bolt on the first trips :D
