How to make all links open in Firefox

Hi, I've started to use firefox now but when I get links that pop-up from my firewall or windows update thingy they allways open in IE which is a bit of a pain and I want them to open in Firefox I should also say that I have firefox set as my default browser, any ideas?

Windows update only works in IE anyway. Also most Microsoft Products (MSN, Windows Firewall, etc) force links to open ising Internet Explorer even if it is not set to default.
