Can someone please tell me how to get a kitten - i keep examining the boxes that are meow then search them and nothing - i have searched every barrel, box, cart and no kitten. I've done everything else . Can someone help?

Did you finish the "Gertrudes cat" quest? You need to have it finished in order to get a kitten. If you have, talk to Gertrude (her house is just a bit west from varrock) and pay her 100 gp for a kitten.

 

 

 

Maybe a bit obvious, but it is a p2p feature....

I worked out you have to wait for the box to meow and then you can get the kitten - if u try when its not meowing you don't get a kitten.

Don't you get given a kitten as a reward from that quest? I'm sure I still have mine knocking around the bank somewhere, I can't think why you want one, they're massively annoying.

i had the same problem when i was doing that quest. there was a bunch of us running around that lumber yard losing our tempers over that kitten but in the end we all found it.

 

the trick is to look in ALL the crates (even the ones that arent making noises) and you WILL find it eventually.
