need rangeing advice

i have lvl 45 ranging and i need to know the best arrows and area to train at plz reply. im not worried bbout getting hit either

best arrows are bronze or iron, men in edgeville and goblins in thier village are good exp (remember its the damage you do, lower lvled stuff gives great exp)

iron or steel arrows and if ur p2p then go train on some dragons and get zammy armor from a cluescroll or if ur f2p go train on the lesser demons on karj island they will level you the fastest because of how many hits it takes to kill them just be sure to get ur arrows :-k

Anyways, if you are f2p get some iron arrows and head down to varrock sewers. If you are p2p get a cannon. Gaurds and moss giants are pretty good xp

I have a pure archer character, and I train in melzars maze at ghosts using steel arrows, or at monks using iron arrows. exp does go fairly fast.

1. I have probably played ten times longer than you have.

 

2. He is asking abour range not armour, its completely stupid to train range while wearing rune armour (or any armour at that)

 

3. I would recommend you not make assumptions about what people know.

 

4. If you are implying he get levels at dragons then that is some of the worse advice you can give... he will spend a whole hour trying to kill a green dragon at his level, and he will most likely get pked and loose all his arrows as well.

 

5. Clue scrolls are based on ranks. You can only get god armour from level three clues, therefore you can kill any monster that drops level three clues and have the same chance to get god armour. Maybe I am not the one who needs hookedonphonics....

Wow.. I wrote it in proper english and you still don't read.... hes lvl 70 combat with 45 range do you think really think he could kill enough dragons above lvl 85 to get a clue scroll. Plus i said wtf are you talking about because what you said is plain spam. He asked how to level his range and where and you start talking about random bs. Sad how the only way you can get your point across is by calling peopel [wagon]es. From now on stop worrying about your post count and read what people write, I didn't say you cannot get god armour from level three clue scrolls, I said that any level three clue scroll has the possibility of having god armour in it, and which one of the monsters you get it from doesn't matter.

Anyways [bleep]egamer, I have about the same ranged level as you (47). If you're P2P, I would recommend training at Moss Giant Island west of Brimhaven. I'm doing that now with iron arrows and making pretty good exp (plus somewhat decent drops from the mossies -- lots of herb seeds).

 

 

 

If you're F2P, it's good to train on the dark wizards south of Varrock since they do so little damage to ranged armour (and drop lots of runes). Also, you could try the skeletons in the Varrock sewers -- you can range them across the little stream.
