I have heard that all of our post (when they expire) go to archives.tip.it - where ever that is. I think it would be conveniant just to post a link to these "archives" so we can look over them.... NOT post on them :-$

OR.... you could just post one here and save rescripting tip.it  O:)

Elfs creating a crystal Axe would be like GreenPeace creating a Nuclear Powered Harpoon for killing seals...

Drops: Ahrims Hood, Guthans set FULL (minus legs), dragon half shield, dragon legs/skirt

It's a little more complicated than stuff just "expiring"

You'd have to get an admin to find out what exactly happens to various old stuff.

Theres no such thing as a "tip.it archive"

Posts that are in forums that are worth saving stay in the forums, posts that so called "expire" such as old goals and achievements that arent relevant and maintained are moved to a forum that is outside public view as a temporary placeholder. The forum in question is often pruned of old and irrelevant posts which removes them completely. Basically anything that isnt worth searching is removed. Things that are considered worth searching would be discussion of updates , or guides to quests, help topics, etc..

Depending on how Silverion would feel about the disk space(which isnt really a problem for us) , I suppose I "could" begin a read only archive by exporting the current database into a backup and setting up a forum system to read it. But who knows...
