TranceBlitz
I have 25k iron knives banked (need to finish smithing the bars) but I'm planning ahead and so I was wondering where to train with them? My current Range level is only a low 48, but I hope to raise it to 70 using knives. I thought about experiments, high hp, low level so I could practically stay there forever because no food is needed. However, I've trained there before and become bored and aggrivated within five minutes with the constant noobs flooding in making it slow experience. To add to this all they drop is bones ..... What I want is good experience, not all that bothered about the drops but it would be a bonus, suitable for my range level, and somewhere which is efficient. Thanks In Advance. dogfever
You could probably have some success at the Lesser Demons under Karamja. There are some good safe spots and the drops aren't bad (also the drops aren't too varied so you can stay a long time without banking) - plus you get to watch people get nailed by the Lessers every so often. You won't need much food and they drop rune med helms pretty often. Once you hit level 60 then Fire Giants are probably the best target. df
bacab
Slayer tasks are often a good excuse to use ranged attacks. Just talk to a slayer master and see what you get. Ranging spots for some tasks listed below (from what I remember) Fire Giants - The leftest room in the Baxtorian Falls. Hide behind a chair or behind a suit of armor, or even near the door leading to the place where you complete the waterfall quest. Bloodvelds - A chair in the upper right hand corner of the room. You could also try the upper left hand corner of the room but that's a bit more difficult. Blue Dragons - (I don't recommend iron knifing them because of their High Defense, but it's still worth a shot) On the left side of the Blue Dragon cave in Taverly Dungeon is the path leading down to the lava eels. Stand in the path way and range big blues from here. (or you could try to range baby blue but they're much smaller and dont' have the movement restrictions that bigs have.) Hell hounds - The gold rocks in the Ardougne Dungeon used for Family Crest Quest. They're two there, and it'll be hard to range them for the first ten minutes, but after a while they'll stop being aggressive. Jellies - there are some rocks that you could hide behind in the upper part of their chamber/cave/wateva in the Relleka Dungeon Lesser demons - In the Lesser Demon area just to the west of where you descend into the volcano there's a rock to hide behind. I don't recommend the Mageh Tower Lesser because you'll lose your knives. Those are just some tasks that I remember getting from Chaeldar that I ranged. Hill Giants are easy to range if you get them as a slayer task from Vannaka because they're rather weak. We don't rebel to sell it just suits us well, we're the bright young things. Stephen9o3
I'd wait until level 60 to fight Fire Giants. Also, the centre room is much better than the western room I find (Trained from 60-80 range there.) You might want to give Ogres a try, east of Cwars, safespots with the low wall and with the bushes. TranceBlitz
Thanks for the advice. Talking about ogres what do you think of the ones in the cage thingy( north-west of ardy)? And mossies? Do you recommend them? I'm currently assigned to kill 92 lessers, however, I attempted to range them but it took me ages to kill ones so I think thats a no no until I get higher range. :)
