i put it like problem wise and it looks wierd so i had to type it this way

 

 

 

y= 2x+7

 

.......14

 

 

 

is the same as

 

 

 

y = 2x + 7

 

......14....14

 

 

 

which simplifies to

 

 

 

y = 1x + 1

 

......7......2

 

 

 

Slope = 1/7

 

Y intercept = 1/2
