hit the "print screen" button on ur keyboard, which is usually located to the right of f12.

 

 

 

then open photoshop, paint, or w/e such program and to to edit:paste. or hit ctrl+v

 

 

 

save piktar.

 

 

 

go to imageshack.us, or some other pic hoster and upload. they will give u some html links

 

 

 

copy and paste those links here

for me i press the "Prt Scrn" button and then go to paint, EDIT then PASTE

i understand most of it, but how do i crop off the part with the address&the favorites&toolbars etc.? when i paste the pic to paint, i see all that but when i try to crop, the whole picture moves!?!(note:i am using windows)

To crop out parts, click OUTSIDE THE PIC (in the white part around it, or just click on a different button and then click the crop button again. It's the one that looks like a dotted-line square.)

 

 

 

SAVE YOUR PIC as either .jpg (.jpeg is the same thing), .gif or .png NOT .bmp (.bmp is default, you have to change it in the drop down menu on the 'save as' pop-up).

 

 

 

.png is my favorite, less distortion when you save, and the file size doesn't get too much larger.

 

 

 

Upload onto a hosting site, imageshack is popular here, I like photobucket.com personally.

ok. but what if I want to just show a small piece of the huge humongous thing? when the pic shows, it shows this word and the rest is white.
