ranging help

whats better shortbow or longbow? and does it actually matter what metal the arrows are made of? like does it make a difference in speed or attack or anything?

1. Shortbow, hands down. Anybody using Longbow doesnt know how to range

2. The Damage of a bow is determined by its ARROWS (NOT, i repeat, NOT by the bow). The better the metal, harder it hits.

The ACCURACY is determined by the +ranged bonus, the Damage is determined purely by the arrows and your ranged level..

1. Shortbow ftw, it is much faster

2. A higher arrow will hit harder, and also more consistantly. For example the Bronze and Iron arrows both have the same max hit, but the Iron one will hit this max more often...
