Fishing...

Featured Replies

Is fishing like mining, and woodcutting? Is it that if more people fish in one spot, you have less of a chance of getting fish?

Catching fish is pretty much just random. I don't believe that if there's multiple fishers on one area it will affect anyone. It just mostly depends on your fishing level.

Nope, everyone has an even chance in Fishing. The spots are completely independent for each player except for Random Events which will change it only occasionally (i.e. Moving or becoming a whirlpool).

I've never had problems working on fishing in a crowd. If anything being with a crowd can make it go by faster, conversations and stuff to take your mind off of your task.

Yeah I've wondered this myself too....apparently not.

Wrong, the amount of people at any certain spot doesn't affect how quickly you will catch them...
