July 30, 200619 yr I have noticed quite a few fixes on here, like using system restore. Almost every fix I have seen has consisted of System restore. System restor is next to a reformat. If problem can be solved solve it without it. Like back a couple of threads ago a guy had a problem with a notice box on his taskbar...That was SpyFalcon. Removal is really easy. I urge everyone to try a technical fix rather than a quick one.
July 31, 200619 yr Not everyone is technically minded on these boards. More often than not, people just want their PC back to normal so they can play some games and surf the internet. Also, if we were to give technical explanations for every single little thing that can go wrong with a PC, wouldn't that take a bit of time? We're not getting paid to help, so if it can be fixed by doing a System Restore. I say do it. Notoriously Trollish.
July 31, 200619 yr Author System restore can be harmful, and it is a thrill to give technical advice other than system restore. Its not about the pay its about the experience. See when you go technical you learn.
