gtacrackhead
So you get xp no matter what you hit, even if its a zero? And they dont do the 4x(damage given) with mage?
Goobore
So you get xp no matter what you hit, even if its a zero? Yes. The mage exp that you earn is BaseExp + 2*HitDone For example, Curse has a base exp of 29 and always "hits" for 0 for a total exp of always 29. Fire strike has a base exp of 11.5 and a max hit of 8 So Fire strike can give anywhere from 11.5 to 27.5 with an average of about 19.5 Also, if you cast with a staff on Def style, then your mage exp is split between Magic and Defense. And they dont do the 4x(damage given) with mage? That's right. Jagex has a different formula for magic than for melee and ranged. They did that because there are plenty of spells that don't do damage at all. (Enchanting, Teleporting, HI-Alching, etc) Hope this helps
Goobore
Also, if you cast with a staff on Def style, then your mage exp is split between Magic and Defense. You can autocast Strike (Mind), Bolt (Chaos), and Blast (Death) spells. Members can autocast Crumble Undead with the slayer staff. But, you can't autocast Curse though. Hope this helps
