ryoushinn
Ok well, last year i took a break from runescape since i had too much schoolwork. And i started playing a few weeks ago (i usually play during the summer). And woopie, someone changed my password. So i've tried the recovery pass 17 times and they wont' accept it. WHY?!! I became a member using paypal, and i have included everything i have. i mean...has anyone ever recovered their account? What did you do? This is bugging me greatly...I could use help. :( Note: They changed all the recovery questions.
BloodAngel
Tell JagEx if you haven't done so already, and they may be able to get your account back. -Bloodangel "Unfortunately, the real world isn't the same as a fairy tale."
RAHK
Chances are good that they think that YOU are the "hacker". A huge delay, "incorrect" recovery questions, no pin, and no real proof that the account is yours is a pretty large pill to swallow. You can keep trying but I would suggest getting used to the idea that you may need to start a new character. I got my account locked (I teased a friend that I was somebody else and stole the account; he reported it and they froze my account until they figured it out aka it was totally my fault for the lock, lol.) and it took many replies to get it unlocked. I gave them all the information that I could and it remained locked. Once I told them that the game was not worth the hassle, that I knew for a FACT that nobody else was trying to recover my account, and to check the ip address that I logged in from they finally unlocked it. Some of this wouldn't help you much but you should see if the person is actually using that account. If they haven't logged in for ages either then you have a better chance at recovery. If they log in after you make a new account and add yourself then your chances are slim. My best advice is to just keep at it and provide any information that you can even if it doesn't seem relevant. Try mentioning the date you quit, the skills that you HAD, the date and number of your payment method, possible friends on your list, possible people who are on your ignore list, basically ANYTHING that could help identify your account. P.S. If this helps you get unbanned can I have a phat? I prefer blue. 8-) or a cracker! Mmmm, crackers. :3> GOOD LUCK!!! Message me in-game if you do recover it; I would really like to know. PM me in game to use some skills of mine (glories/potions) free or to ask a question.Fire Cape - 04/29/06 Lvl 104RAHK's Pro PC Gear and Guide(clickable) Tired of hack and slash? FPSers getting old?
