Although it would make alot of sense if it were Iron because that's what rust is -> iron oxide. But Runescape has never made sense so w/e. August 2, 200619 yr If you use it on a whetstone you can get any metal through mithril (no addy or rune), and it could be long or short, there's also a chance it could break. If you have a house in rimmington you can sharpen them and then sell them to the general store right next door.

All the armour and weapons made of the 7, 8 if you include dragon, basic metals are identical in weight. Check it yourself before saying things.
