August 3, 200619 yr right now i am getting up to 70 fletching to make yew longs. when i can do it i will start o alch them. my question is should i alch unstrung yew longs to save time or should i alch strung ones to get about double the profit? just wondering what your comments would be. all you help will be appreciated :D I'm wearing Rune Axe.Wearing? August 3, 200619 yr allways string your bows you get the same amount of XP for making a bow as you do for putting a string on: making a yew long (u) 75xp stringing yew long 75xp =150 xp per complete bow high alching should allways be done on a complete bow or you will lose out on money

August 3, 200619 yr It's still a loss of profit: You could sell the yew you cut for 300, and you could sell the nat for 300 so, that's 600 instead of 345 for alching the long (u). Strung ones alch for 700+ so you make 100+ gp on each one.
