ive just had a long break from runescape, i stopped just as that quest with the culinoromancer thing was released. ive just returned, so i was was wondering if you could all tell me whats changed in runescape since ive been gone?

I think that the biggest update since has been

 

 

 

PLAYER OWNED HOUSES!!!!!!!! (finally)

 

 

 

Monkfish (really good fishing exp)

 

 

 

Pest control (great new minigame)

There have been more but they were a bit dull.

 

 

 

Edit - Jagex screwed over rune essence as well.

what did jagex do to essence?

Made it into 2 different types, pure essence which can be used for any sort of rune and normal essence which can only be used for the non-member runes. F2P can't mine pure essence only rune essence and P2P can only mine pure essence if they have 30+ mining (I think that's right, if I'm wrong can someone correct me thanks!)
