  1. alrighty, i'll try it. is there any particular place thats good? the tipit bestiary is a little vague
  2. grinding/farming/camping, whatever you want to call it :P i haven't played runescape in a year or more so i've forgotten the right terms :P is there a guide or anything anywhere, or is it as simple as run in, hit stuff and eat food? also there's some potion i can use to raise my attack until i level it up isn't there? oh, and i don't have any summoning levels at all xP thanks for the advice
  3. i've heard, and seen a few times on this very forum, that green dragons are quite profitable to farm, but i have no idea what kind of stats you need, could anyone give me an idea? with my fairly rubbish stats (63 attack, 60 strength, 60 defense, 55 magic, 41 range) would it be better to just alch yew longs? (67 woodcutting, 70 fletching) i'm doing that at the moment, its not great money (i have to buy the nats) and its fairly slow. it seems to me i'd get faster money just selling the yew logs i cut.
  4. thanks mate, great help
  5. i've just returned from a rather long break, and i feel something of a noob. quite a lot of changes, and i really can't remember how to play. i stopped playing just around the time player houses came out, if thats any help. i just have a few questions, would appreciate answers to help me get back into the game :) firstly, i need some money :P most of my noncombat skills are a bit low, my strongest seem to be 65 fletching and 64 woodcutting, can i make profit from these skills? and how? secondly, the grand exchange..... wtf? i understand its some kind of marketplace, but i had a look and i really don't get how to use it :/ also there seems to be a new combat stat "summoning". is this particularly useful? will i need to level it up to not get pwnt? lastly, combat training, defense to be specific. i'd really like to get into some of that nice looking dragon armor, but i need 2 more levels in defense. any advice on where to go? and is grinding npcs the only way to level it up? combat level 74, i'm wearing full rune with a granite shield and a dragon longsword, the purple gem amulet and ring (can't remember name) str 60 atk 63 def 58 mag 55 rng 41 pray 38 thanks for your patience with what must seem pretty noobish questions :)
  6. some good ideas there, i always play guitar while i train, and it really helps
  7. most of the fletching guides say you should fletch from willow bows straight to yews, missing out maples cos they are too expensive. is it worth it if i plan to cut my own logs anyway?
