Whenever I use hypercam, runescape freezes until I close hypercam. I have also tried camtasia and unlike hypercam it works, but it is super laggy, and if I tried to record me killing kq or pking, I would undoubtly get owned. What can I do to make this run more smoothly?

 

 

 

I am running on windows xp, with dsl that is decently fast, however it is wireless, could that have anything to do with it?

It would have nothing to do with the internet if it's only when a screen recording program is open.

 

 

 

What are the specs of your computer? What are the settings for these programs? You may have the settings too high for your computer and thats causing the lag.

You may need more RAM for it to function without lag. Or a faster processor. :)
