Hmm, Barrowing..

Well iam almost done with my combat goals, just 100k away from 98 strength. So iam going to buy myself a verac set and kq / barrow until iam rich enough and bored.

 

 

 

So i was woundering if anyone has done alot of trips at barrows with verac.

 

What should i bring with me and could someone explain why some peoples bring noted food ect. If its faster somehow ect.

 

 

 

Also who i should range or melee.

 

Iam combat 116, with full verac. Also have crystal bow ect. I would appericiate this alot. Thanks

Although I am only lvl 99 I still have done quite a few trips with Verac and never had any trouble..

 

 

 

What I wear is:

 

- Full Verac (duh)

 

- Fire Cape (defence, str and prayer bonus)

 

- Fury (same as cape)

 

- Barrows Gloves (str + att bonusses)

 

- Climbing boots (str bonus)

 

- Ring of Life (my pc hates me and I don't like being in Fally with a few mil down the drain)

 

 

 

In my inventory I have:

 

- Super set (obvious reasons)

 

- 2 Prayer pots (if someone I don't like is in the tunnels *cough* dharok *cough*)

 

- DDagger (for specs on Karil and Ahrim)

 

- Whip (to finish off the above 2 + get kill count up)

 

- Rune Defender (Hit more and better with whip and dds)

 

- House tele tablet (charge prayer and canifis tele portal)

 

- Karils Top and Skirt (unless you want to eat half your food supply on Ahrim..)

 

- Spade (dunno why, brings me luck I guess)

 

- Rest Monkfish, lobbies would probably do but I'm a noob so yer..

 

 

 

I pot up (except def), go in and kill Dharok with usually some prayer leftover, then move on to Karil, spec him and whip to death.

 

My prayer usually runs out just when he's dead.

 

Then I move on to Verac, pot up defence and kill all 3 remaining melee brothers without prayer (they dont hit alot except verac but prayer doesnt help either so..)

 

Last one is Ahrim because he drains your stats. Wear the Karils (or black hides is ok too), dds spec and whip him to death.

 

You could range him but I found him as easy to melee with potted stats so thats your choise.

 

Tunnels is easy, just take a prayer dose (or 2 if needed) for Dharok or Karil and kill them, whip some more monsters and claim your reward..

Because you are wearing verak you can have anceints on and use the tely to canfis spell. Also tsome people take food because you can sell it to the general ston used in the shades of mor'ton quest and then buy it back thus eliminating the need to bank.
