u should try putting some shade in it

i actually never did any pixel sig or any sig...but like make a diff color shade of brown for the dirt and tree and thats all i can say...try asking some pixel sig maker for tip

yeah try shading, and more detail, and dont save aas a jpg or its quality is just dust-bin grade

yeah, its a start but to go further, try drawing with the pencil tool instead of brush tool(the tree). and add shading and such.
