Featured Replies

alrighty...this is my first laptop..and i fought my school as to which laptop i get...but i lost of course

now..it came witha single gig of Samung ddr2 pc4300 at 4-4-4-11...and i am upgrading to 2GB

my question is...shuld i match the brand, frequency, and latency of the original? or would the operation be better if i went to 667 mhz and a much beter latency?

respond today if possible..i was gona purchase it today :D

If you put in faster memory and keep that slower memory in as well both will run at the slower settings.

Blade is completely right...so therefore get the exact same type of ram that you already have. But I must ask, do you really need 2gb of ram for your laptop?

Laptops are normal computers too, desktops benefit from 2gb of ram, so I don't see why laptops wouldn't :) .

I think you would see a speed increase going to 667mhz with better timings (maybe 4-4-4-10 @667mhz) but then you would need to replace all of the ram :( .

Of course they will. Just build your own laptop. It's just like building a small desktop.

If you read the first post you would see that he already has the laptop. If you don't know what your talking about, don't post.
