Wizards Blog Of Boredom- PART ONE COMPLETE :)

Featured Replies

Hello all! First thing to say is that this is my first blog of any kind, im usually to lazy to write down my day-to-day life, so if theres anyway I could improve it please tell moi. Anyhoo let's get cracking on what this blog is going to keep...

Part 1- 66 Smithing! COMPLETE!

Part 2- 78 Firemaking!

Part 3- 99 Cooking!

Part One It's gotta start somewhere

Last week I came home from a month long holiday to stay with my cousins, parties, laughter etc. etc..... but thats not what im here to write about :P

While I was away I decided that I would still like to collect resources, a month is a long time to do nothing, so I done the Manage Thy Kingdom quests. (I personally hate quests and only do them if they benefit me)

I put 2.5m in on 100% coal and 50% on maples.

This is what I got...

Now I realise I could have got much better rewards since my approval dropped to about 70% but i'm happy nonetheless.

Using the tip.it calcs I worked out that if I bought 6600 iron I could get 66 smithing. I also worked out that if I made the 6600 steel bars into cannonballs, 4 per bar, i'd have 26.4K cannonballs, and selling them at 250-300 ea would make 6.6-7.9m. I didn't do the MTK for cash though, and making cannonballs gives decreased exp so I decided to make 33k steel knives and try and sell them off.

This blog starts after i've smelted all the steel and got from 55-60 smtihing

After having smelted all the coal and iron I thought the hard part was over ( 6600 bars, 9 at a time... -.- ) but it seems it wasn't. Decided to smith in Varrock since I hadn't been there in a while and wondered what had changed. Was happily smithing, some other mid-leveled player was also there smithing for a while, hadn't really said much to him since I was talking on Msn to a few mates. After a bit some low level comes in and gives the usual "Make me armour plz" I reply with the "If you have the bars then sure" Theres a pause....he again says " I need mith for my friend". The player next to me decides to make him some, which I think is fair enough and I would have done if I could have spared a few bars.

A bit later the same player comes back in and asks this time for Addy, even though theres no way he can wield it since his combat is only just in the double figures. Again I just ignore him and go back to listenin to my music, watching the bars in my bank slowly go down. This continued for the next 15-20 mins. The player would come in, ask for stuff, be ignored, say something rude, then leave. "Perhaps Varrock isn't the best place to smith me thinks I know, ill go hang about with Affliction at Pest Control! There's an anvil there!" So off I go. As i write this im smithing at PC and enjoying it, may do all the bars here.

After day one I have 4801 bars left and 8865 knives made.

I went from 60 to 62 smithing.

I start school again tommorow (boo!) so I won't be able to get as much done.

I realise that nothing exciting has happened, and it isnt the "funkiest" of blogs ( If I get any more bored ill add colour to it...) but im keeping this so I have somehting to do while I wait for my char to hammer out those 10 bars of steel before I have to click again.

Hey again! Got straight into smithing today, still at Pest Control, it's really not as bad as I had first thought. Met some interesting people while I was there - They kept claiming that they were the "leetest". Hmm. Also decided to spice up my look while smithing, incase I bump into to people who read this and they think im not "hip" and "with it".

Much better I must say!

I'm gettin much better at the timing between making the bars, I can now write a good 2-3 sentences on an english report and be finished just as the last bar is being hammered out.

Got a mime random today and got the "Lean" emote, only the top and glass wall to go. (Forgot to piccy it :wall: )

Decided also to pic all the levels, to make this blog more interesting, since no one reads blogs but just look at the pics..

I had to end quickly today as I have a report to hand in tommorow, bleuch. Just over 4000 bars left.

Saturday 19th NOTE: Redone the maths and found that i'm only getting 66 smithing out of this, not 71 as I first thought.

Didn't do anything for the last two days- there was some kerazee lightning and I had school st00f to do.

Came on early to get a good headstart. Quickly got lvl 64 smithing..

64smithingdt1.png

Followed by...

65smithingks6.png

One more level to go!

And a few hours later I got it..

Still got a few hundreds bars left till I get 33k Knives, so as soon as i'm done hammering them out its time to unleash the pyromaniac within!

I had someone comment on my bunny ears as well today, which was nice

Got another mime toady, i've now learned glass box!

If you see me around give me a HYT or add me if you want some crazy bored chat about politics and contraband.

Peace!

Wiz.

Woooooo! Good luck! Woooooo!

By the way, Verac only hits through prayer as an NPC, so if you wear it against people who prays, it wouldn't work.

Holy cow! If I knew about that before I went on my holiday. I did the quests and would've putten all of my money in it. But its too late for that.. :(

Good luck m8! 8)
