August 18, 200619 yr When 2 or more people are fishing at the same spot does it affect you like when your mining?
August 18, 200619 yr dont think it affects you in genreal, but it might make the spot leave faster or a randoum event like the whirlpool, but i dont think it will slow you down
August 18, 200619 yr You know I really have no idea but I took it for granted that there was a limited amount of a certain fish in a fishing spot before it would disapear so I always looked for the one with less people but I guess it could not affect it at all. August 18, 200619 yr use common sence ok mineing - faster miner gets the ore woodcutting - faster woodcuter gets the log so whats logical Ponies!
August 18, 200619 yr I tend to get a full looad of fish faster standing on 20 people then with a spot to myself. Might just be my luck though :-k
August 18, 200619 yr use common sence ok mineing - faster miner gets the ore woodcutting - faster woodcuter gets the log so whats logical The problem with this is that unlike rocks and trees, fishing spots don't "deplete." Moving fishing spots are more or less random events, so like stilev said, the only reason for more people fishing affecting your speed would be a greater chance of moving fishing spots or whirlpools. Even then, it's not that big of a deal to walk a few squares and start fishing again (unless you have severe lag). Fear the frog reaper. Hypercubes make the frog reaper happy ^_^ Or else I shall feast upon your soul!!!
August 18, 200619 yr I have yet to notice a difference in speed in solo or "team" fishing. Woodcutting and (obviously) mining are quite different. As mentioned the only difference is the increased number of "randoms" that appear from others.
