Simple Fish Question

You know I really have no idea but I took it for granted that there was a limited amount of a certain fish in a fishing spot before it would disapear so I always looked for the one with less people but I guess it could not affect it at all. I

mineing - faster miner gets the ore

 

 

 

woodcutting - faster woodcuter gets the log

 

 

 

so whats logical

 

The problem with this is that unlike rocks and trees, fishing spots don't "deplete."

 

 

 

Moving fishing spots are more or less random events, so like stilev said, the only reason for more people fishing affecting your speed would be a greater chance of moving fishing spots or whirlpools. Even then, it's not that big of a deal to walk a few squares and start fishing again (unless you have severe lag).

Fear the frog reaper. Hypercubes make the frog reaper happy ^_^

I have yet to notice a difference in speed in solo or "team" fishing. Woodcutting and (obviously) mining are quite different. As mentioned the only difference is the increased number of "randoms" that appear from others.
