August 19, 200619 yr They are some sort of defence-lowering spell that randomly goes off. Uncontrollable, unrechargeable and not effective, which means it's basically pointless.. 99 cooking / 99 magic / 99 ranged / 99 hitpoints / 99 herblore / 99 defence Quoted for truth, wisest thing I've heard anyone say on Runescape.

August 19, 200619 yr ignore the charges mask still works at (0) i think it is str and att edit: and def too but only vs monsters you are assigned by slayer master Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year !
August 19, 200619 yr No I think he was just mistaken when he said defense. I have a black mask and it doesnt boost your defense
August 19, 200619 yr so the mask DOES in fact give a 15% defensive bonus also? no it gives 15% att and 15% str while on slayer asignments and the random lowers opponents defence lvls
