So, i was stupid and attacked the dragon before i was strong enough to beat it and teleported away from the battle. How do i get back to the island?

You will need to go and see Ned in Draynor again. I did this quest a long time a go, so I don't know whether he will need some more planks, nails etc. :)

iy you opened the secret door to bottom you could go back thru that way

since you didn't push the door at the bottom, I believe you must get planks and nails again to repair the ship and sail to Crandor Isle.

As long as you actually got to Crandor you can use the secret door, even if you hadn't opened it from the inside.
