August 25, 200619 yr Ring of Recoil is supposed to be good for up to 40 damage. However, when I took off a ring that was partially used and put it in my bank it stacked with the other rings in there. So what happened to my rings of recoil? Did they: a) Instantly recharged used ring so it became good for 40 more hits. B) Averaged the charge among all rings in the bank. (So if I had 1 ring with 20 hits left and 1 with 40, now both are good for 30 hits) c) Make all the rings as damaged as the one I've put in. d) Something else. PS There is also a small typo on the ring's description in this site's crafting guide. It says "Used up after 40 damage is casted back." Past form of "cast" is just "cast".

August 25, 200619 yr I'm not 100% sure about this, but I'd say it's the same as for rings of forging. Instead of a charge for each ring, you keep the charge. If you return 39 damage, then put the ring in your bank and take another one, it will crumble to dust at the very time you return 1 damage. This signature is intentionally left blank.
August 25, 200619 yr The charge is attatched to your character. If you used 20 and put the ring in bank it will stack. Take it out, or buy another one, it will still have 20 charges. When it gets destroyed, the charge is reset to 40. Edit : exactly as he said it ^^ . beat me :( Road To Trimmed Completionist

August 25, 200619 yr Ah thx also I was wondering the same thing about Forge rings Had same question exact same answer - the charges are stored with your character, not the ring.
