As soon as I saw the charter ship price list it was obvious that some routes are cheaper using 2 trips. So me being me I had to sit down & work out the minimum prices between any 2 ports.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The 2 touching pairs have free trips between them.

 

If you can see a choice of routes just check the totals to see which is cheapest.

 

 

 

Notes:

 

~ These prices are with both Cabin Fever and Ring of Charos - it should work identically (just doubled) without the ring (+ 30gp for Karamja <--> Port Sarim). Obviously I can't test non-Cabin Fever prices myself.

 

~ Port Tyras is 800gp from & to anywhere so I saw no point including it.

 

~ Several of the prices Jagex list in the KB are different to the in-game prices (Port Phasmatys & Mos Le'Harmless both ways, from Port Tyras; and Port Phasmatys --> Port Khazard does exist).

 

~ The maximum number of trips is 3 eg Mos Le'Harmless --> Port Phasmatys --> Karamja --> Brimhaven, but most are 1 or 2.

 

~ Catherby & Brimhaven (from Ardougne) are closest to normal telport points; Catherby is closest to a bank.

Oo nice small guide. I have a question, how long would 2 trips take instead of the more expensive one trip?

I haven't timed the trips, but not very long - worth it unless you're in a major hurry IMHO.

 

1: right click chose Charter Ship (Ring of Charos discount is appplied automatically).

 

2: usual ship travel time

 

3: leave ship

I checked every single route myself, both with & without the ring.

 

To clarify: I asked for prices, I didn't actually travel many - but those I did matched up with the quoted prices (not always with Jagex prices :wall: ).
