Will I be able to melee the demon in The Grand Tree quest with these stats?

I am wearing full rune and using a scimmy, and I have good old cakes for food.

Thanks,

Lobs would help more than cakes but u should be fine, i can't see your stats if u have prayer, but i would use prayer also

It's highly recommended that you fight with Protect from melee (lvl 43 pray).

i tried at almost the same level, same armour and everythings and got roundly whupped, didnte even get him to half health,

but when i went back with mage stuff, a few hundred chaos (most of which were uneeded) that demon went bye bye real quick, and my mage was lower then yours, seriously mage is the way to go

o and use the safespot!
