Yung_Joc_XXX
I'm making my brand new account and even though I've played Runescape for quite some time, I want some outside opinions. If you look at my signature these are all the stats I want to achieve on my new account. So take a look at them and please leave a reply. No you don't have to have an answer to all of them. If there is just one skill you think you've got the best strategy to level it with then that's just fine leave it. Thanks! ancientzoide
this topic seems pointless if you needed advice on that why not jsut ask where the best places to train every f2p skill are http://tip.it/runescape/?page=skill_guides.htm these will tell you where to train every f2p skill Retired from RS since Sept
Yung_Joc_XXX
Ok I'll add a little detail. This is just a regular file that's I want to achieve these levels on. I'm looking for people to tell me (from there experience) what the best spot is to train certain skills and on what monster to train from level I don't know let's say 40-60. I don't want one website's data even though I think "Rune Tips" has pretty good info. I want the population of Tip It opinions. So this topic is not pointless. By the way flamingo brought up a good point. Another question if you would like to answer it is do you think my goals are good for an F2P account? D. V. Devnull
Your prayer goal is interesting, to say the least... I suggest lvl 12 wildi chaos prayer altar, where there is a nice bunch of bones... this WILL get you up the levels fast... bank everything, else have a teleport on you!!! ~Mr. D. V. Yung_Joc_XXX
Lol did you think it I wanted it to be level 60? I added some comma's to make it more legible and I only want my prayer to be 45 so I can use all F2P prayers. But I always seem to forget about the chaos altar I'm glad you mentioned that. That'll probably be my top spot to raise prayer. Thanks for the input :) . By the way everyone don't mention the skeleton place now that he's mentioned this altar because I probably don't want to have to fend off level like 20 skeletons while trying to bury some bones. Yung_Joc_XXX
If someone wouldn't mind does anyone know a good way to raise smithing? Because yes powermining is the fastest way to raise mining but then where do I get ores to smith? What's the easiest, fastest, and most convient thing to mine/smelt/smith? ShadowSam19
Power mine iron until you get into the mining guild. Then mine your own coal and iron and make steel plates. Hi alch or sell the steel plates, and use the money to buy coal, and mine your own iron. To get to 48 smithing for the steel plates, bank the required amount of iron while power mining. Yung_Joc_XXX
If you read this again I have a question for you Sam. I've never been much of a high-alcher but do you earn money from high-alching steel plates if you make them yourself (I'm including if you mine the ore yourself)? Otherwise sounds like a great idea thanks again for your help. And speaking of high-alching what would you say the most profitable item is in F2P to high-alch? ShadowSam19
If you mine, smelt and smith your own ores, you you make 900gp every time to hi alch a steel plate (hi alchs for 1200, a nat rune costs 300). As for the most profitable item to hi alch in f2p, that would be either steel plates or rune meds. You can buy rune meds for 10k ea, and they hi alch for 11k+. Steel plates are only profitable to hi alch if you get most of the materials your self.
Yung_Joc_XXX
Duh I feel like an idiot forgetting rune med helms. I could train on lesser demon in wizard's tower and pick up the few rune meds he's bound to drop on my way to level 60 mage. Thanks again for all your help feel free to drop more suggestions everyone! Otherwise sounds like a great idea thanks again for your help. And speaking of high-alching what would you say the most profitable item is in F2P to high-alch? for me ... best way to earn money is making a lot of steelbars. not making 100 or something, but realy sell 'bout like 5k at 550ea. calculate that and you'll know my way of becoming this highlevel is doing everything myself instead of buying things... i've never bought raw materials, except for coals. and not to forget... best way of raising ur crafting lvl is making pots :P, it's having a bit patience with mining clay and making them into soft clay could be a problem... but still, it's better then mining gold/silver without entering the crafting guild... i've mined a lot of clay, give some water(3) of a bucket or jug (3) in falador near a fountain, went to barbarian village (from varock), made unfired bowls of it and fired them. until lvl 41 (or 40), then u can enter the crafting guild and then i sugest to mine silver and make a lot of holy symbols out of it (or tiara's gives u more exp, but less gold). gold takes a long time to mine them (i'm a lvl 81miner now, and sometimes i even have difficulties with it, silver is easier => need 2 chops for that) Unification Wars, a Massive online game where you can guide your own Star fleet ! Yung_Joc_XXX
Yeah I did pots on another account and made like 800 of them, noted them, then dropped them for some random person to pick up. And I did do the steel bar thing for a little while once but it got kind of boring. But when you brought up the money involved 550x5,000=2,750,000 that makes me want to get back into the steel smelting business.
