August 28, 200619 yr I would say its not really a bad thing, but it depends on the context and why the people are saying it. If someone is harassing you with it that might get muted for saying it, but only saying it once wont matter much since its so commonly used. August 28, 200619 yr noob or newb is just a new person to something and people act like it kills them to be called it.. It is just a word that immature people use when they are mad cause your better or wont trade them something they want. Why would you be offended by ANYTHING someone you don't even know calls you..? Noob and/or Newb are so meaningless and if you get mad over it just turn your pc off right now.
