I would reccomend either the Rimmington, Varrock, or Al Karid mines. But if you have a high enough combat level you could try either the Edgville mine or one of the wilderness ones (beware of PKers : ).

The calculator tells you the number of rune ess you will need to level up. You would have to figure out the number of runes you recieve from crafting by hand.
-
Personally i would reccomend training on minotaurs in the Stronghold of Security, since you can train on them forever with their arrow drops. If you want cash drops i would recomend either the Lesser Demons or Moss giants on crador (using safe spots). And to speed up training dont pick up your arrows (even tho its can give significant amounts of exp).

Most Cost-Efficient Smithing Method? (F2P)
full_metal replied to hybrid2hell's topic in Help and Advice
The most cost effiecnt method woul probably be smelting steel bars. Either buying the materials yourself or becoming part of a company, smaller profit but more of a guarentee for materials. -
Upstairs Lumbridge bank is by far the best. No doors, only 1 click away, and you get some firemaking exp.
-
You both read it wrong. He needs to make 5398 platebodies. He doesnt have 5398 iron bars to make into platebodies. And just because someone is bad at math doesnt mean their under 13 And to answer the question you would need 26,990 bars.
-
I believe rune meds are a decent alch. You can buy them for 10k and they high alch for 11k i believe. If you make your own nats you could also do steel platebodies, buy for 1k, high alch for 1.2k.

Well it personally i would sacrifice the speed to burn the logs. I would rather have the two 99's than the speed of one and a small gp gain. Working on the calculations on tip.it's calculators you have to cut 136,921 willows to reach 99. With that same number of logs you will get to lvl 98 firemaking (12,446,550). If you just sell the logs at the general store you would make 547,684gp (4each, how much they are worth i think).

It seems like the longbow would have the longest range, but i would guess that the cannon would probably have a decent range (not sure tho, F2P).

I'm slightly curious what could prevent you from smelting? Without smelting the best you could hope do is maybe find someone would train you bars for your ores and some cash and then you could smith them. Otherwise your only other options would be quests that give smithing exp (only 1 in F2P), Tears of Guthix (If its your lowest skill, P2P), or praying for a ton of genies/dragon teacher. :anxious:

This best i can offer is that you should write a well thought out appeal in attempt to get it unbanned, other than that theres nothing you can do (other than maybe a large bribe  ). So in the mean time if you enjoy runescape that much start a new name, if not just move on :ohnoes:

For you the best exp would either come from the Fleshcrawlers or the Giant Spiders in the Stronghold of Security. Fleshcrawlers hit only low ones and twos occasionally so someone with your stats could train their indefinetly. I personally have to experience with the Spiders but I've heard more or less the same as the fleshcrawlers, albeit at a higher level. I would stay away from Ankous/Lessers since both can hit consistent high numbers on even high levels, thus making pure-exp slower.

Well the best level would be straight 99's  . But practically speaking you can do with a 45-50 combat level. So about 40,45,40 (40ish hp). For your outfit i would wear full rune armor, subing rune chain in for platebody and anti dragon fire shield for kite/square. For the weapon i would recomend either a Rune Longsword on stab, or Rune Battle-Axe on bash (owing to the fact that i believe Dragons are strong against slash, thus making the Scimmy ineffective). Hope this helps and Good Luck.

Id recommend the willows at draynor during non-peak hours on low player worlds. Or you could cut willows in Rimmington and either sell them to the general store or burn them.
-
You use all of them on the door after talking to the oracle. If you need a more in depth answer check out the tip.it guide: http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2quest_id=21

The best you could do would be to bring a ton of friends/comrades with you have them report too.

Or alternatively you could try this guide http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=642 ... ight=thief

Once you hit 76 cooking it doesnt matter, since you dont burn lobsters at all, fires or range. Its even lower if you use the cooking gauntlets from the Family Crest Quest (I think lvl 70?).
-
P2P: I would reccomend either rock crabs or experiments (requires quest *Creature of Freakenstein?*) F2P: Minotaurs (Decent profit/range training from ludicrous amounts of iron/bronze arrows) or Flesh Crawlers (very few drops, but low dmg and are aggressive).

Varrock west is the best in my opinion. You get three trees right next to each other all like one and a half clicks from the bank. And theres rarely anyone ever there.
-
Your best bet would probably be the mine in the swamp, or if u want to risk it you could try the mine in the wilderness just north of Edgeville. If you want these spots to be empty you should try playing during none peak hours.

If you want to know how many arrows you will need check out this guide, its very useful. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=434814

I would guess that they're mostly just looking for cooked foods. If you want to power fish i would recommend either picking a full/fuller world or starting a thread in the cooking or fishing forum, that can usually get a couple runners and will get the word out.

Straight from tip.its combat guide: Focused training gives (4*damage inflicted) xp to that one skill and (1.33*damage inflicted) xp to your hits level. Controlled training gives (1.33*damage inflicted) xp to each of the four skills.
