August 29, 200619 yr I am thinking of cancelling my membership on rs. As i dont want to play as regulary, so i would like to save money and time only playing f2p if i find time to play at all. But i need help on how it will affect my game regarding bank space and having member items etc in the f2p game and what i should do about it. Also i remember seeing a guide somewhere explaining this if anyone knows of one please can you post a link. I'm sure someone will know what i mean and will be able to help. Thanks for your time and hopefully help. EDIT: I also would like to return to p2p at some point in future so take that into account aswell, thanks. my signature.
August 29, 200619 yr well joe heres what i would do... as you will use items such as rune scimmys, etc make sure you have 2 of each so when you take ONE out u dont mess up your bank - ( no bank space left ) i also thing its important u remove any members junk from quests and usless items secondly ANDREW W00000DS!!!!! 0_0
August 29, 200619 yr I doubled/tripled/quad. every f2p item in my bank that I think I will be using in f2p. Members stuff I sold most of my armour and weapons for extra cash. Herbs, pots, others I kept. I'm wearing legends cape, cooking gloves and desert boots for the fun of it. And finally... be careful not to click 'withdraw all' when you're taking runes/money out of your bank...
August 30, 200619 yr I had to make that transition myself last summer. Fortunatly I only had 2 months of accrued members items. Try to keep things to a minimum and common items and reserve space for items pertaining to your main skills. For example, I am a big miner and i get a lot of gems which I also craft. Instead of having bank space for uncut and cut gems (8 spaces) I only have cut gems and leave a chisel in my bank (5 spaces) freeing up 3 spaces. Drop items you can easily get in members (enchanted gems for slayer, etc. etc.). Everything for members skills can go (potions, seeds, produce) unless you have a very good level in that skill. Just try to think of how you usually use your bank instead of just a place to throw items and tailor it to that end.
