Help with Windows Movie Makerrrr

Ok, so i made a move in WMM and i am needing help with something. I have a song in my video and i want my video to stop at that pont in the song. I made it so everything stops at that point but heres the problem. The pictures and everything stops, but the video goes on for a total or 6 minutes, where i only want to run it for 1:50. How do i do this? :-k

You could always cut the song by using an audio editor, like Audacity.

 

 

 

But I don't use WMM so I wouldn't know how to do it within the program.

there is an easier way to do this but a simple way is to:

 

 

 

export the finished 6min video as uncompressed avi

 

import it again

 

cut this down to however long you wanted

 

export this to what you want

 

delete the avi cos it'll be massive

You can simply drag the duration down on the timeline.

yea, just drag the song in the timeline so it ends at the same time that the movie ends.

I think he means that the song goes for longer than the video footage. Just split the audio and delete the bit you don't want.

Yes... I know... but he doesn't need to chop the song up and convert it and do a bunch of work he doesn't need to, not to mention he would end up losing a lot of quality. If you just drag it to syn with the movie in the timeline, it will end at the same time, no extra work done, no quality lost.
