Give me a rough estimation please: Silver or Cowhide?

My next goal is 70 Crafting, I need to choose between Silver Crafting and Cowhide Crafting. I will need either 10125 Silver (Tiara) or 15187 Cowhide (Hard Leather Body) to accomplish it. I'm going to get the material myself instead of buying it.

My Mining level is 70, and my combat level will be 80 attack / 80 strength / 70 defence by the time I start the plan. So if I go for cowhide, I will train my defence. Both mining training and defence training are attractive to me.

Question: which way will get me 70 Crafting faster? Mining in Crafting Guild or power-training with Cowhides near Crafting Guild?

I am back.

i think cowhides cause silver takes long to get, you can 1 hit cows so it is fast enough. but if you cannot click fast then i suggest silver because it can auto make.

Well, for F2P you have...

Silver: mine in guild, walk to bank. Run back to guild. Repeat.

Then go to Al-Kharid bank. Walk to furnace, smelt, "auto" craft. Walk back to bank.

52.5 exp per tiara

Leather: Kill cows next to guild, short walk to upstairs tanner, craft while walking, drop. repeat.

35 exp per Hard leather

Clay bowls: mine clay in guild, soften, shape, "bake" all on the first floor of guild.

33 exp per clay bowl earned in 2 steps.

Silver gives the most exp but wastes a lot of time walking.

Leather gives 2nd most exp but spends time killing cows and walking.

Bowls is a close 3rd in exp and requires only short walking.

I suggest that you try each method for 1 hour.

Then do whatever method gives you the most exp during that 1 hour.

Hope this helps
