Improving the Rants Forum: an idea

A lot of you who have visited the rants forum might have noticed that topics of the same type are constantly being repeated and are in violation of the forum rules.

 

 

 

The rules state this:

 

 

* Don't bother starting new threads about these topics:

 

o All things NOOB...I'm tired of being called a noob, being a noob, players acting like noobs (n33b, nub, choob, etc)!

 

o F2P needs updates!

 

o I got banned!

 

o Rare prices stink/rares should be removed!

 

o I got pk'd in the wild/running the abyss!

 

o Players who pray or teleport in the wild stink!

 

o I got hacked!

 

o I got scammed!

 

o I got outmined!

 

o I hate macroers!

 

o Boyfriends/Girlfriends, Weddings, etc. are stupid

 

* Search for your rant topic before starting a new thread and reply to an existing one.

 

 

 

 

...but even so, users post topics about these subjects and are constantly being flamed or locked for it. So instead of hurting the person or locking their topic, I suggest that we make a sticky for different scenarios where people can share their stories and not worry about violating the rules.

 

 

 

For example: "Sticky: Got hacked or scammed? Share your story"

 

or "Sticky: Got banned unfairly? Tell us the details"

 

 

 

This way, those who don't want to read rants about such topics can easily avoid them, and those who want to share their story/read other stories can easliy access them through the stickies.

Well we do have the "almost scammed" sticky in general because there was lots of scammed topics.

but it would definitely be a lot more useful on the rants forum. makes sense, no?
