Using mature chef's delight in barrel

Featured Replies

Hi

I recently decided to make my own chef's delight barrel in my POH to help me burn less cooking stuff.

So i started to make the delight and all goes very well, untill i try to get my ale... and i see it's matured, well i guess that would be ok, but when i try to use it to make my barrel, it won't work :wall:

So here's my question: Are there anyway to make this work? Or will anyone trade me 8 normal chef's delight for 8 matured chef's delight?

Mature has a higher bonus (don't know the figures for this, but swarven stouts are +1 normal, +2 mature, so it could well be a further +1 for any mature), so you may be better off using it yourself (especially to cook something you couldn't normally make, such as another stat-raising drink) - mature is rarer than normal, as it usually makes normal.

So a straight swap would be a good deal for the one receiving the mature stuff.

Unless someone is willing to trade you some regular chef's delight for your mature chef's delight (as doomster suggested), you are going to have to make another batch for use in making a barrel for your POH. The same thing happened to me when I brewed my first batch for my POH. :/

I'm not sure where you are doing your brewing, but it goes much quicker when you brew in Keldegrim than it does in Port P.
