looks great but looks a bit as if the outlines are drawn with a pencil..

nice line art!, this will not considered pixel art i think, when you think pixel art think mspaint, just use pencil tool and start drawing, pixel art as in its name is basicly a style where you can see the pixels good, you can count them( although i do not recomment to do that will take you a while).

And no lol why do you always want to get stuff from John Lewis. Its over ̣̉300 more then than what i paid.

ok, well ive shaded it.. in a manner of speaking. ive noticed that converting to gif makes shading look weird. its a hard choice between transparent background and better quality shading.

1st that isn't pixel art. You need to go over your pencil marks, or brush, with a 1x1 pixel. Because I don't think you anti-aliased this. Then once you get the color count down more, gif is perfect for this.
